Fourth on the Brazos

We are excited to announce the return of the City of Waco’s annual Fourth on the Brazos celebration, featuring the H-E-B Fireworks Extravaganza and live music from former Journey lead vocalist Steve Augeri!
Mark your calendars and make plans to join us Thursday, July 4 at Touchdown Alley (next to McLane Stadium). Enjoy food trucks, fireworks, live music and family fun. Admission is free.
6 p.m. – Event Opens
7:30 p.m. – Steve Augeri
9:10 p.m. – Patriotic Ceremony by the Waco Community Band
9:15 p.m. – H-E-B Fireworks Extravaganza

LOCATION: Fourth on the Brazos will take place at McLane Stadium’s Touchdown Alley, 1001 S. MLK Blvd. Chairs, blankets, shade umbrellas and coolers are allowed, just no glass bottles or containers.
CLEAR BAG POLICY: To ensure the safety of guests and expedite the entry process, clear bags/purses are required for entrance into the event interior at Touchdown Alley. Exceptions will be made for diaper bags, waist bags and wallet-sized bags or clutches. All bags are subject to inspection. Please note there are no bag size restrictions or limits to the number of clear bags you can bring in.
ABOUT THE ARTIST: Drawing on a range of musical influences to deliver a unique take on melodic rock, Steve is an American rock singer best known for his time with rock group Journey from 1998 to 2006. The 70s and 80s supergroup earned its reputation as one of America’s most beloved and accomplished Rock & Roll bands, with more than 100 million albums sold worldwide.
With soaring vocals, gritty tenor and powerful stage presence, Steve brings his signature blend of rock and soul to every show. He debuted on Journey’s seven-times platinum “Armageddon” soundtrack and, for nearly a decade, recorded three albums and performed on multiple world tours to millions of fans.
On July 4, he’ll perform a number of Journey’s greatest hits, along with songs from his solo career and newest album, “Seven Ways ‘Til Sunday.”
