Dr Pepper Goes West

Howdy buckaroos. Git your friends and mosey on over to the Dr Pepper Museum to see the Wild West exhibit. The exhibit embraces America’s love of everything old west with displays including western themed advertisements, historic artifacts, and memorabilia. The western them was used frequently in marketing from the 1930’s – 50’s, and had a resurgence in the 1990’s. The exhibit will run through May 2016.

Be sure to take a selfie with cowgirl Peggy Pepper and the famous bottle cap horse and then belly up to the bar (soda fountain) for a root beer float.

The museum is open Tuesday through Saturday: 10 am to 5 pm and Sunday: 12 pm to 5 pm. The last ticket to the museum gallery sold at 4:15 pm.  The soda fountain and gift shop are open until 5 pm
