Stand tall and reach for the sky this World Giraffe Day! Join us on June 20th from 9am to 2pm for the world’s tallest animal—to celebrate these majestic “sentinels of the savannah.” Keeper chats will be at 10:30am & 1:30pm. Free with admission!

Texas Ranger Talks
Our Summertime program “Texas Ranger Talks” will kick off on Saturday, June 13th as part of the family fun “Home on the Range” day. Additional Talks are scheduled for June 27th, July 11th and July 25th. Presentations occur at both 10:30 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. Activities are included in regular museum admissions.

Enrichment Extravaganza
Join us on July 4th to vote for the best enrichment setup! Each animal care department will create beach themed enrichment for one exhibit, using largely recycled materials. Creative Arts Camp
Mission Waco’s Creative Arts Programs are hosting a theater-art camp this Summer July 6-10th from 10:00-3:00!! Kids ages 8-18 will get to write, produce, direct, and develop set design for their own play!! It will be a super fun time where kids get to channel their creativity!
