In search of that perfect trinket or treasure for your home or for a gift? Waco & the Heart of Texas has a wide variety of shops featuring collectibles, antiques, heirloom crafts, and vintage goodies. One of them is certain to have just the right thingamajig, doodad or doohickey. Fun shops seem to be found in clusters. Odds are good that if you are at one great shop, there will be others nearby. This list is by no means complete, but should give you a starting point for more than a full day of shopping adventures.

Start in downtown Waco at Spice Village, a collection of great shops under one roof. Head up Austin Avenue to Cameron Trading Company, Covet Antiques & Treasures,  Papillon, Sironia (another great collection of shops), or The Blue Horse. Shift over to LaSalle for the LaSalle Shoppes, Shades of Shabby and Junque in the Trunk, Other Waco shops you won’t want to miss include Magnolia Market on Bosque – made famous on the HGTV show Fixer Upper and Show and Tell Antiques on Morrow.
