“So I Can Take My Rest” video filmed at Waco Mammoth Site

Balmorhea is an epic, mostly instrumental band named after a tiny town in west Texas. They recently recorded their cover of Robert Earl Keen’s slow-burning beauty “So I Can Take My Rest,” at the Waco Mammoth Site.

The Site was perfect for this rendition of ballad as the song’s opening lyrics are “I’m tired to the bone.” Balmorhea’s latest album is the excellent Stranger, and the band is currently touring Europe.
