Waco Symphony Orchestra Presents “Sounds of the Cinema”

From Gone with the Wind to Star Wars, music has played an integral role in our appreciation of the cinema. This evening the Waco Symphony Orchestra celebrates the orchestral scores that have left indelible impressions on generations of movie goers.After intermission, cinema legend Billy Dee Williams, well known for portraying Lando Calrissian in the Star Wars movies, among other roles, shares highlights of his career as the WSO presents the iconic soundtracks from his life in film.
NEW THIS SEASON – DINNER BEFORE CONCERTS
This season treat yourself to a quick but delicious dinner prior to each Symphony concert. To enhance the experience, consider inviting fellow symphony lovers to join you. Several popular local restaurants are participating in this convenient in-and-out experience. Each restaurant will offer either Prix Fixe menu or small plates or priority service if you make your reservations and state that you will be attending the Symphony. You will choose your restaurant and make your reservations.
The plan is to arrive between 5-6p and be paid and out by 7p, adding an additional social element to an already delightful evening.
Participating restaurants include One Thirty Five Prime, Moroso, Milo, 1424 Bistro, Di Campli’s Italian Restaurant and DiamondBack’s.
