Celebrated Brazilian cellist Dr. Hugo Pilger joins Baylor’s Dr. Philip Borter for an evening of music that bridges continents and celebrates the expressive power of the cello.

Drawing from Brazil’s rich musical traditions, the program features works by Leandro Braga, Osvaldo Lacerda, Ricardo Medeiros, Waltel Branco, Francisco Mignone, Antonio Carlos Jobim/Vinicius de Moraes, and Ernani Aguiar, presented in a vibrant mix of solos, duos, and cello ensemble pieces.
