Carry The Load National Relay-Waco

Carry The Load’s Memorial May campaign takes place all month long to raise awareness and provide active ways to connect Americans to the sacrifices made by our military, veterans, first responders, and their families. Memorial Day is dedicated to honoring and remembering the men and women who died while serving in the U.S. military.

The National Relay travels 20,000 miles covering all continental 48 states, ending with the Dallas Memorial March. The Relay consists of five routes (West CoastMountain StatesMidwestNew England, and East Coast), with teams walking throughout the 29-day Memorial May campaign, beginning on April 29th. It’s an amazing opportunity for people of all ages around the nation to honor and remember our fallen heroes.

Come out and walk with our Relay Team as the travel through Waco on their way back to Dallas.

The Relay Team will be starting at 8:00 am at Target (5401 Bosque Blvd. Waco, TX 76710) and walking 2.5 miles to Waco Fire Station 6 (1006 N 25th St. Waco, TX 76707).

Then the team will be leaving Waco Fire Station 6 at 9:30 am and walk 5.7 miles to Waco Fire Station 1 (100 Peach St. Waco, TX 76704). See our Relay Team off at 12:30 pm from Waco Fire Station 1 as they continue to Dallas.
