Walt Shelton Book Signing at Baylor Bookstore
The Baylor bookstore will host a book signing for Walt Shelton’s award-winning book The Daily Practice of Life: Practical Reflections Towards Meaningful Living, which encourages others to live out of faith by making a difference in the world.
An adjunct professor of law at Baylor, Shelton is a social justice advocate, environmental attorney, speaker and faith columnist for the Austin American-Statesman.
The Daily Practice of Life: Practical Reflections Toward Meaningful Life is a collection of experiences, observations and lessons. Each chapter contains a story and meditation from key social justice advocates such as Martin Luther King Jr., Buddhist monk Thich Nhat Hanh and Viktor Frakl, author of Man’s Search for Meaning. Shelton turns experiences into parables to offer hope, inspire better choices and shed light on religious inclusivity.
