Waco Walking Tours is a great way to kick off your visit to Waco or to get to know your hometown. Learn history, legends and lore, as well as fun things to do, and places to eat and shop in and near downtown Waco.
Approximately two hour narrated walk…sometimes a little longer, sometimes a little shorter depending on the group.
Location: Meet at the parking lot for the McLennan County Courthouse, at the corner of 6th and Washington.
Cost: These tours are a fundraiser for Act Locally Waco, a local non-profit that encourages people to enjoy Waco and get involved in the community. Tickets are $20. We can take cash and checks easily, and credit cards if you are patient!
Dogs are welcome as long as they are on a leash and you come prepared to scoop the poop.
Wheelchair/Stroller accessibility: There are places on this walk where ramps are not easily available. You will need to be prepared to negotiate regular street curbs and some grassy areas.
