Topdog/Underdog: A Play by Suzan-Lori Parks

A gritty look at brotherhood and the American dream, “Topdog/Underdog” asks how do we make it in a world that pits brother against brother? Lincoln and Booth, two brothers who are forebodingly named, struggle to survive in a world built to shut them out. Lincoln, a former card hustler, has found other work, but Booth tries to pull him back into his former life.
Written by American playwright, musician and novelist Suzan-Lori Parks,  Topdog/Underdog won the Pulitzer Prize for Drama in 2002. Parks was the first Black woman to receive the award for drama.
