Fall Fossil Festival
Fall Fossil Festival is back!
Waco Mammoth National Monument’s annual Fall Fossil Festival returns on Saturday, October 19. The City of Waco Parks and Recreation Department, in partnership with the National Park Service, invites you to come enjoy local exhibitors, live camels, pumpkin decorating, a mock dig pit experience and more. The event will run from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Admission to the event is free. Guided tours of the fossil bed in the Dig Shelter will be open all day (fee applies). The park’s hiking trails, restrooms and gift shop will also be open.
