HLN Conectar-Connect Presents: “Teaching Waco’s Mexican American Experience”

Join Hispanic Leaders Network for Conectar-Connect. November’s leadership development series will feature Dr. Ricardo Álvarez-Pimentel who will present “Teaching Waco’s Mexican American Experience”!

Dr. Alvarez-Pimentel is a Mexican immigrant who has lived in the United States for over 25 years. He was born in Mexico City and partly raised in Miami, Florida before pursuing a college education in Chicago and graduate school in the Northeast. Ricardo is an assistant professor of history at Baylor University. His research focuses on modern Mexico and Latin America.
