Kermit Oliver Through a Greek Mythology Lens
Waco artist Kermit Oliver studied Greek mythology in college. Dr. Jerolyn Morrison of Baylor University will interpret his work through the lens of Greek history and mythology, thus adding to our understanding of this complex artist and the imagery and symbolism found in his work and this exhibit.
Dr. Jerolyn Morrison is a Minoan archaeologist, art historian and potter with an extensive background in Greek history and mythology. Before moving to Waco, she lived in Crete where she regularly led cultural experiences.
