Originally opened in the old Buzze Music Company building on Franklin Avenue, Sascee’s moved to their current location at 719 S 11th St, Waco, TX 76706, in February 2017.
Saturday thru Thursday you’ll find chicken, pork and beef recipes on the buffet. On “Thankful Thursdays” you’ll always find beef tips, pork tips and a chicken dish that changes weekly. Friday is “Que Fry Day” with fried catfish and a variety of barbecue offerings. Weekday meals are served with your choice of two Sascee’s sides, and on weekends you get three! And don’t forget to save some room for dessert! You’re definitely going to want to try the peach cobbler, sweet potato pie, homemade butter pound cake or their incredible banana pudding.
Owners, John and Marcia “Sascee” Neal, both learned the art of down home southern cooking, also known as soul food, from their moms. They are passionate about serving great food, and about providing great service! These passions will be clearly evident every time you visit Sascee’s. You won’t find better food or better service anywhere else in town.
Sascee’s Southern Style Eatery is open for lunch buffet from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM Monday thru Saturday, and from Noon to 5:00 PM on Sundays.
